The 34th annual Bel Air Christmas Parade begins at 3:30 pm on Sunday, December 8, 2024 – down Main Street at Churchville Road to Lee Street and ending at Hickory Avenue. Community bonfire and singalong in Shamrock Park with food trucks, cookies and hot chocolate at 4:15 pm and the Tree Lighting at approximately 4:45. Scheduled to appear: Stilt walkers and acrobats, local high school marching bands, costumed characters and mascots, beauty queens, dancers, floats, musical groups and even some special equestrian guests, ending with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus! Immediately following the parade, join us in Shamrock Park and help us begin the tradition of lighting the newly planted 30-foot Norway spruce Christmas tree! Event is weather permitting. In the case of bad weather, the event will be cancelled and not rescheduled.
Following the Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting, visit the Train Garden at Mt. Ararat Lodge at 136 E. Gordon Street. from 3-8 pm.
Santa visit and Lodge lighting at Bel Air’s Masonic lodge-
After the parade and celebration, join Santa at 7pm, a block away from Shamrock Park across from St Margaret’s church at 136 E Gordon St. Santa will arrive to light up the lodge with over 55,000 lights. All children will see Santa and recieve a gift for FREE. Hot chocolate and cookies for all. Bel Air’s train garden open for all to explore!!
