The Bel Air Holiday Market is a collaboration between The Belle Aire Market and the Bel Air Farmers’ Market to bring artisan shopping to Bel Air! On Saturdays, from November 26 through December 17, 9 to 11 a.m. you will be able to shop for locally grown and produced food items from our local farmers and pick up gifts for loved ones from local artists!
Join the John Carroll School this holiday season for The Nutcracker! Presented to you by the College Preparatory Dance Program and The John Carroll School Ballet Academy, this production will delight an audience of all ages. First-rate costuming and choreography set to the beautiful classical score will get you in the holiday spirit. Show length approx. 1.5 hours (including intermission). Get into the Christmas spirit with a trip through the magical and unique train garden designed especially for Bel Air! The garden features a lighted Christmas train, ice skaters, a circus and plenty of town and countryside scenes that are sure to delight people of every age! You can even participate in a scavenger hunt to find items located throughout the garden. Admission is free. The train garden will be open starting the Friday after Thanksgiving during the following hours:

Harford Choral Society joins with Grace Methodist Church of Baltimore to present the audience with a beautiful concert including “Christmas Oratorio” by Camille Saint-Saëns , “This is All My Pleasure” by Johann Ludwig Bach, “O Magnum Mysterium” by Giovanni Gabrieli and other seasonal selections.
The first annual Habitat For Humanity Holiday House Tour will be held on December 17th between 4:00 – 7:00 pm. This self guided tour will feature six historic and traditional Bel Air homes beautifully decorated for the holiday. Tickets are available online and in person on the day of the event.
To start your tour and/or purchase your in person tickets please visit Habitat For Humanity (205 South Hays St Bel Air, MD 21014) to pick up your wristband and brochure with the list of homes. There will be a suggested route but please feel free to visit the homes in the order you wish. You may stop and resume your tour as you like but please be sure to finish the tour by 7:00 pm. This is a rain, snow, or shine event and tickets.
Enjoy dinner/drinks at Sean Bolan’s in downtown Bel Air which is offering 10% off your bill and will donate an additional 10% to Habitat For Humanity Susquehanna (wristband must be shown and only valid for day of event). You can also check items off your gift giving list with extended hours from many of the shops in town.
Feel free to explore the magic of Winter Wonderland in Bel Air which includes a beautiful light display to walk through and horse drawn carriage rides. Complimentary tickets for the horse drawn carriage rides must be reserved in advance on the day of the event. This is a separate event from the Holiday House Tour.
Tickets sales support Habitat For Humanity Susquehanna, serving Harford County since 1993. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit housing organization working to build or improve a place for people to call home. They have built homes in our local county for over 100 families.
This holiday season, visit downtown Bel Air and enjoy its festive Winter Wonderland! Take in beautiful light displays on Main Street, visit with Santa, plus enjoy horse drawn carriage rides, funnel cakes, hot chocolate and live music.
Downtown will be shining bright with special light displays at the Frederick Ward Armory Park, the Harford County Sheriff’s building and at the Harford County Courthouse. Lights will be on every evening from 5-11pm starting November 26, 2022 and through January 1, 2023. Extended store hours and special events will occur each Saturday November 26th – December 17th.
Horse drawn carriage rides will be available each Saturday, November 26 – December 17 from the Bel Air Armory. In person reservations are required, space is limited and rides are available on a first come-first served basis. Enjoy shopping in our downtown stores or grab dinner with your family while you wait!

The Bel Air Downtown Alliance is excited to offer a Drive-In Movie Night in December 2022! This is a great opportunity to hop in the car and head out to downtown Bel Air with family & friends. The featured movie will be Jack Frist starring Michael Keaton and Kelly Preston (1998). The parking lot will open at 6:00pm and the movie will begin at 6:45. Advance tickets are required.
