Come Explore Winter Wonderland in Bel Air
Enjoy the spirit of the holiday season along Main Street with light displays, including the Bel Air Armory, Harford County Courthouse, and Bel Air Town Hall. From November 29, 2025, to January 3, 2026, downtown Bel Air will be lit with thousands of warm lights for the community to enjoy each night. Immerse yourself in the glow of holiday lights while enjoying live musical performances, carolers, and much more on Saturdays, November 29, December 6, and December 13 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm! Plus, you can check items off your gift-giving list with extended hours in many of our shops.

Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides
Saturdays, November 29 – December 13
5:30 to 8:00 pm
Enjoy a complimentary carriage ride through Downtown Bel Air on Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas, November 30, December 6 (Main Street will be closed with carriage rides 5:00 – 8:00 pm) & December 13. Sign up in person only at the Armory on the evening you wish to ride. Reservations are only accepted in person on the day of the ride. Volunteers will begin taking names and assigning times at 4:00 pm. We will accommodate as many groups as possible. Rides last approximately ten minutes and the carriage holds your group of up to four adults. You will be given a time slot, and your party will be asked to return to the Armory at that time, which will give you an opportunity to shop and enjoy our local restaurants! Visits with Santa

Visit Santa in front of the Harford County Courthouse or hand deliver your letter to him with your special Christmas requests. While you are there, keep an eye out for the Snow Sisters!

Saturdays between November 29 and December 13 will be fun filled in historic downtown Bel Air!
Main Street will be closed on Saturday, December 6 for Winter Wonderland events. Use the Hickory Avenue parking garage, the Hickory Avenue lot, the Lee Street lot and the Bond/Thomas Street lot as parking alternatives.

Live Musical Performances – Each Saturday Night
Live musicians will be performing on the stage at Frederick Ward Armory Park each Saturday 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
Winter Wonderland Market – December 6, 2025
Come to the Bel Air Armory to shop the Winter Wonderland Market! Local vendors will feature dozens of artisans offering unique gift items for everyone on your list. The Market will be open Saturday 2:00 – 7:00 pm.
Train Garden – Fridays – Saturdays Thanksgiving – Christmas
Enjoy a stroll through a Christmas-themed train garden. The display is free and open to the public Thanksgiving – Christmas on Fridays 5:00 – 9:00 pm and Saturdays 2:00 – 9:00 pm at Mt. Ararat Lodge located at 136 E. Gordon Street. In addition, the train garden will be open the day of the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting on December 7 3:00 – 9:00 pm at Mt. Ararat Masonic Lodge at 136 E. Gordon Street.
Recommended parking in the Hickory parking garage, downtown Bel Air parking lot or on Main Street. All parking is free in Bel Air after 5:00 pm & on Saturdays and Sundays.
